Siemens Government Technologies Selects CMS for Large Energy Performance Contract at the JSMC Tank Plant
CMS Corporation (CMS), a leading mechanical construction firm providing turnkey and design-build services, announced today that it has been awarded a $8.7 million design-build (D-B) turnkey contract with Siemens Government Technologies (SGT) to install thirty-seven (37) steam-fired heat recovery units (HRUs) equipped with advanced enthalpic plates, and a single large air handling unit (AHU) at the JSMC Tank Plant in Lima, Ohio.

The Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Indiana/Kentucky recently awarded CMS Corporation (CMS) the 2017 Award of Excellence in the “Federal Government Over $10M” Division for a $27.1M design-build project to recapitalize deep draft berthing Wharf Charlie 2 (C-2) at Naval Station (NS) Mayport, FL. CMS was recognized by ABC for excelling in “innovation, quality, communication, and safety” on this project.
