U.S. Secretary of Labor Martin J. Walsh recognized CMS Corporation (CMS) as one of the 849 recipients of the 2021 HIRE Vets Medallion Award during a virtual award ceremony presented by the U.S. Department of Labor.
CMS Receives ABC Awards of Excellence, Merit
The Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Indiana/Kentucky recently awarded CMS Corporation two Awards of Excellence for projects at Andersen AFB, Guam, and Luis Muñoz Marin Air National Guard Base (ANGB), Puerto Rico, and one Award of Merit for a project at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. Emergent Repair of 6 STI Tanks at Andersen AFB received an award in the “Federal Government/Military Under $10M” category, Replacement of Tank 34 and Vehicle Fueling Station (VFS) at Luis Muñoz Marin ANGB was awarded in the “Other Specialty” category, and Repair High Temperature Hot Water (HTHW) and Steam Line D at Wright-Patterson AFB received the award in “Mechanical Institutional.”
RM Builders JV Wins Two Projects at Fort Carson, CO.
RM Builders, a joint venture (JV) between experienced Department of Defense general contractor CMS Corporation and New Mexico-based protégé Jack Wayte Construction (JWC), announced it has been awarded two projects under the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Omaha FSRM Small Business Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC). CMS has been a mentor to JWC, an 8(a) and Woman-owned Small Business, under the US Small Business Administration 8(a) Mentor-Protégé Program since 2015.
CMS Wins $4.3 M Fuels Project in Guam
CMS Corporation, an experienced Department of Defense general contractor, announced today it has been awarded a $4.3M project to repair four aviation fuel hydrant system pumphouses (designated as HS-1 through HS-4) at Andersen AFB, Guam.
CMS Wins AMRS Project at Vandenberg SFB
CMS Corporation announced today that it has been awarded a $1.7M Advanced Meter Reading System (AMRS) Metering Implementation project at Vandenberg Space Force Base (SFB), CA. This project was awarded under the Regional Engineering and Construction (RE&C) West IDIQ contract, and comes in as the company’s eighth AMRS project, following projects at Luke Air Force Base (AFB), Maxwell AFB, Peterson SFB, and Camp Atterbury.

– CMS Corporation announced today it has been awarded a $3.7M project to Repair and Upgrade POL Facilities at Mansfield Lahm Air National Guard Base (ANGB), OH. This project falls under CMS’s prime East Regional Engineering and Construction (RE&C) Contract, awarded by the United States Air Force.

This task order was awarded under CMS’s Regional Engineering & Construction (RE&C) East Region prime contract with the US Air Force.
