BARGERSVILLE, IN – CMS was awarded the Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) Graduate of the Year Award at the 2018 Indiana Small Business Development Center IMPACT Awards on May 2, 2018. This award honors formerly certified 8(a) business development program participants that have successfully graduated from the 8(a) program with continued success. Award winners demonstrate a history of successful performance, successful current performance and sound financial conditions.
Upon graduation from the 8(a) program CMS has continued to contribute to the small business community and is a recognized success story within the SBA program. CMS also became involved in the SBA Mentor-Protégé Program and currently mentors an 8(a) certified and Economically Disadvantaged Woman Owned Small Business (EDWOSB) under a Mentor/Protégé Agreement.
CMS was honored to be highlighted during the 2018 SBA‘s National Small Business Week celebration and extends sincere congratulations to the other SBA Small Business Week honorees. Robert Scott, SBA Region V Administrator (right) visited with Khush Mander, Vice President, CMS Corporation (left) at CMS’s Bargersville, IN office on 16 Mary 2018. The visit followed up CMS’s receipt of the SBA 8(a) Graduate of the Year Award for Indiana District and Region V earlier this month.
