Hangar 716 – Demolish Engine Storage Facility
Dover AFB, DE
CMS executed the full demolition and site restoration of Hangar 716, a former Jet Engine Maintenance Shop along the northeastern portion of the Dover AFB flightline. The team completed asbestos abatement, hazardous‑material handling, full structural and foundation demolition, and extensive recycling of steel and metal framing materials, including legacy Air Force steel. The work extended far beyond simple demolition, requiring ground‑penetrating radar utility surveying, utility disconnection, removal of asphalt and concrete, and precise site grading to prepare the area for future development.

P260 – P8A Aircraft Airfield Pavement Improvements
Whidbey Island, WA
CMS transformed an aging airfield into a resilient hub for advanced Navy aircraft operations. Completed nine months early with zero safety incidents, the team integrated aircraft-carrier deck lighting into slip-formed paving, maintained tight tolerances, and used GPS-guided grading. Custom shoring and dewatering enabled construction of two 30,000-gallon oil-water separators 14 feet below sea level and 300 feet from the ocean. The team delivered infrastructure supporting mission continuity and readiness.

McConnell – API 653 Tank Repairs on Tank 30001
McConnell AFB, KS
CMS successfully rehabilitated Tank 30001, a critical 1,150,800-gallon Jet A fuel storage tank at McConnell AFB supporting tanker and transport aircraft aerial refueling operations. The tank required comprehensive repairs to its foundation, ring wall, and internal systems.
The team lifted the entire tank using eight large airbags and relocated it on custom-designed rollers along elevated I-beam tracks to a temporary staging area. With the tank elevated, crews removed the existing geodesic dome roof, internal floating roof, and bottom, then fabricated a new tank bottom. After repositioning the tank, interior repairs included new manways, IFR replacement, overflow vents, and welding.
