Maumee, OH – CMS Corporation (CMS), in a joint venture (JV) called Semper Tek CMS JV, LLC, with its Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) protégé, Semper Tek, announced today it has been awarded a $600 million FBI Global Multiple Award Construction Contract (GMACC) in Region 2.
Semper Tek CMS JV, LLC is one of ten firms awarded the Region 2 GMACC, a small business set-aside contract servicing Redstone Arsenal, AL and the surrounding area. The Region 2 GMACC may also be used by other customer agencies, such as NASA Marshall Space Flight Center and the US Army, for future construction needs at Redstone Arsenal.
Task orders under the Region 2 GMACC can range in size up to $18 million and be design-bid-build (DBB), design-build (D-B) or progressive design-build (PDB). Scopes of work may include new construction, demolition, retrofit/renovation of complete building systems, site work, site utilities, and roadways. Types of real property to be built or renovated under this contract may include operations buildings, hangars, commercial buildings (including mechanical and electrical systems), administrative offices, training centers, data centers, and firing ranges. The contracting agency for the Region 2 GMACC is the US Department of Justice (DOJ) Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Facilities Acquisition Unit.
