Maumee, OH – CMS Corporation is proud to announce that CMS K.K. (CMS), a wholly owned Japanese subsidiary of CMS Corporation, has been awarded a $4.6 million project to repair damaged roofs at Camp Courtney in Uruma City, Okinawa, Japan.
Under this project, CMS will work on all buildings in Courtney South (120 units across 29 buildings) and Courtney North (11 single-unit buildings) at Camp Courtney, one of six camps within Marine Corps Base Camp Smedley D. Butler, serving as headquarters for the III Marine Expeditionary Force, the 3rd Marine Division, and the 3rd Marine Expeditionary Brigade. The scope of work involves removing existing roof coatings from all areas of the roofing system and then applying a new 10-year acrylic elastomeric waterproof coating, along with ancillary roof repairs.
“We are honored to support Camp Courtney with infrastructure improvements that strengthen facility resilience and long-term performance in support of combat readiness, disaster relief, humanitarian assistance, joint training, and live-fire exercises throughout the Indo-Pacific,” said Ernest Enrique, Chairman & CEO, at CMS Corporation.
