Maumee, OH – CMS Corporation (CMS), in a joint venture (JV) with COLAS Construction USA (CMS COLAS Construction LLC), announced today that it has been awarded one of the Air Force’s 10-year, $15 billion Unrestricted Comprehensive Construction & Engineering (C2E) Worldwide contracts.
Under this indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract, CMS Colas Construction LLC will deliver design-build (DB) and design-bid-build (DBB) services for a wide range of projects, such as new construction and renovations of administrative and secure facilities, hangars and maintenance facilities, fuel systems, airfields, roads, and utilities, and historic facility renovations and general infrastructure work. Work will be performed at Department of Defense installations around the world, with task orders exceeding $50 million.
This award follows the recent award of the Air Force’s 10-year, $15 billion Small Business C2E contract to CMS, under a JV arrangement with its Protégé firm called Jack Wayte CMS JV. The Unrestricted and SB C2E contracts each have a 10-year period of performance and share the $15 billion contract ceiling. The contracting activity is the 772nd Enterprise Sourcing Squadron based at Joint Base Lackland, San Antonio, TX.
