Maumee, OH – CMS Corporation announced today that CMS K.K. (CMS), a wholly owned Japanese subsidiary of CMS Corporation, has been awarded a $3.1 million project to repair roof systems and replace metal fencing at multiple military family housing (MFH) towers located at Camp Courtney, Okinawa, Japan.
The scope of work for this project includes repairs to damaged roof areas, application of reinforced elastomeric roof coating, waterproofing around roof penetrations, replacement of damaged clay tiles, and installation of new roof fencing. The towers will be occupied throughout the project. CMS will coordinate all activities to minimize disruptions to residents and comply with all safety requirements. Camp Courtney, one of six camps within Marine Corps Base Camp Smedley D. Butler, serves as headquarters for the III Marine Expeditionary Force, the 3rd Marine Division, and the 3rd Marine Expeditionary Brigade.
