Maumee, OH – CMS Corporation (CMS) announced today that Acciona CMS Philippines JV, a joint venture (JV) between Ohio-based CMS Corporation and Madrid-based ACCIONA Construcción, S.A., called Acciona CMS Philippines LLC, has secured a place, among 7 other companies, in the Pacific Deterrence Initiative (PDI) Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC), an 8-year initiative with a ceiling of up to $15 billion in support of the U.S. Navy’s PDI Program.
This PDI MACC will cover design-build and design-bid-build projects across the Pacific, including Australia, Guam, Papua New Guinea, Timor Leste, Micronesia, the Philippines, the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas Islands, Midway, Wake Island, and other locations under NAVFAC Pacific cognizance. Firms awarded task orders under the initiative will provide a broad range of construction services, such as demolition, repairs, and/or new construction of all types of facilities, including waterfront and airfield facilities, throughout the Pacific. These projects can range from $20 million to nearly $2 billion. The contracting agency for the PDI MACC is NAVFAC Pacific, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, HI.
