Maumee, OH – CMS Corporation (CMS) is proud to announce that Gennaro James Scigliano, Senior Scheduling Manager at CMS, has been awarded the Alumni Award of Excellence from Western Michigan University’s (WMU) College of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
Each year, the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences honors alumni who are making an impact in their fields and in their communities, representing what it means to be a Bronco engineer through their personal and professional lives and their commitment to personal integrity. Scigliano has been recognized for his achievements in his profession, contributions to the organization and field he works at, and his reputation for having a high level of personal integrity.
Scigliano joined CMS in 2012, leading the team performing Critical Path Method (CPM) Scheduling. During his time with CMS, he also earned PMI-SP certification through the Project Management Institute, while volunteering and providing support to Scouting America, Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity, Maumee Valley Country Day School, Cranbrook Schools, EMU and WMU.
Scigliano was also asked to provide words of advice to current students; “Trust in yourself to succeed. If you work hard and smart, you can accomplish your goals. If unsure about some part of your academic travels, please reach out for guidance. There are always resources to provide you with assistance and direction,” said Scigliano.
