Maumee, OH – CMS Corporation (CMS) was one of eight firms awarded the $49M US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Honolulu District 8(a) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build Construction Services within the Honolulu Engineer District area of responsibility (AOR). The contract ceiling is $49 million over a 5-year period of performance (a 2-year base period plus three 1-year option periods), with task orders potentially ranging up to $9M. The contract is being issued out of the USACE Honolulu District located at Fort Shafter, HI.
Under this MATOC, CMS will perform design-bid-build and/or design-build construction projects involving, but not limited to, such areas as civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, security, communications, and abatement (asbestos and lead) activities. CMS received this ID/IQ award due to our experience, past performance, bonding capacity, and competitive pricing. CMS will compete against seven other contract awardees for task orders issued under this contract.
Ernest Enrique, CEO, stated, “This particular award has been a long time coming. It is a key win for CMS, given our strong presence in the Pacific and long contracting history with USACE. Our team stands ready to support the client’s mission in this AOR.”
