Maumee, OH – CMS Corporation is proud to announce that CMS K.K. (CMS), a wholly owned Japanese subsidiary of CMS Corporation, has been awarded a $37 million project to Add/Repair Fitness Center B622 at Misawa Air Base, Japan.
Under this project, CMS will provide a comprehensive renovation and targeted expansion of the Base fitness center. CMS will perform hazardous material abatement, extensive demolition of outdated interior and exterior components, and major repairs such as new energy-efficient HVAC systems, upgraded electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and life-safety systems, along with reconfigured interior spaces and modernized building façades. The scope of work also includes new construction to expand operational capacity, including added rooms for storage, receiving, equipment repair, electrical systems, and steam equipment, as well as an expanded women’s locker room.
