MAUMEE, OH – Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Southeast has awarded CMS Corporation (CMS) its Design-Build Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) for Tennessee, Mississippi, and the Florida Panhandle. This 5-year indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract, with a base year and four 1-year options, has a ceiling of $99M for general construction-type projects. It was solicited as a competitive 100% Small Business Set-Aside. CMS is one of only five successful firms, out of 39 companies that submitted proposals when the solicitation was originally released in March 2015.

Work solicited under this contract will be for DoD activities in the Tennessee, Mississippi, and Florida Panhandle areas managed by NAVFAC Southeast. Work will consist of design-build vertical or horizontal new construction, renovation, alteration, demolition, or repair work. Task orders will be in the range of $4M to $20M. Anticipated design and construction facility types include industrial, airfield, aircraft hangar, aircraft traffic control, infrastructure, administrative, training, dormitory, and community support facilities. The NAVFAC Southeast in Jacksonville, FL, is the contracting activity.

Ernest Enrique, CEO, noted, “This is a key win for CMS and marks our 10th major ID/IQ contract award from the Navy. We are excited to win this contract and have the opportunity to continue our long-standing partnership with this client.”
