MAUMEE, OH – CMS Corporation (CMS) was one of five firms awarded the Naval Support Activity (NSA) Crane Mechanical Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC). This full and open ID/IQ MACC is for mechanical construction projects at NSA Crane and the Glendora Test Facility. The majority of the work will be performed in Crane, IN, with the remainder executed in Sullivan, IN. The contract ceiling is $20 million over a 5-year period of performance (a base year plus 4 option years). The expected completion date is May 2020. Naval Facilities Engineering Command Mid-Atlantic out of Norfolk, VA is the contracting agency.
Under this MACC, CMS will provide all labor, equipment, tools, supplies, transportation, supervision, QC, professional design services, and management necessary to perform various HVAC construction, renovation, and maintenance design-build or design-bid-build projects at assorted buildings and structures. Work includes, but is not limited to, design, general construction, alteration, repair, demolition, and work performed by special trades.
NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic received a total of eight proposals for this contract. CMS will compete against four other contractors for task orders under the terms and conditions of the awarded contract.
