Maumee, OH – CMS Corporation is proud to announce that it has earned the National Excellence in Construction® (EIC) Pyramid Award by the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), for its All-American Landing Zone Drainage & Pavement project at Camp Robinson, AR. This award is a prestigious recognition within the construction industry, honoring projects that demonstrate exceptional craftsmanship, innovation, safety in construction, and significant contributions to the industry.
The project included full-depth pavement replacement of the All-American Landing Zone parallel and east connector taxiway, along with upgrades to drainage, grading, and pavement markings. The team completed more than 30,000 CY of earthwork, placed 23,280 SY of hot-mix asphalt paving, preserved the west apron with crack sealing, installed perimeter deer fencing, and constructed new unsurfaced service routes to improve cargo retrieval access following training exercises.
