MAUMEE, OH – CMS Corporation (CMS) has been awarded a $70M Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) at Dover Air Force Base (AFB), DE. This contract is 100% set-aside for small business, with a 1-year base period and six 1-year option periods. Task orders issued under the MACC can range up to $10M dollars and will require either single discipline or multi-discipline design services and/or general construction for new, renovation and addition-type projects at Dover AFB. Projects may also require comprehensive interior design, lead and asbestos abatement and/or incorporation of sustainable features.
The Government received 29 proposals for this procurement and CMS was one of only eight firms selected to receive a contract. The estimated contract completion date is January 2028. The 436 CONS PKA at Dover AFB is the contracting agency.
In other news, CMS was also recently awarded a project for the design-build renovation of Hangar 706 at Dover AFB. The scope of work includes design and construction services to update and repair architectural/interior, HVAC, controls, fire protection, fire alarm system, and electrical at the hangar, as well as repair of the exterior wash rack drains at the site.
