Maumee, OH – CMS Corporation announced today that in a joint venture with New Mexico-based Jack Wayte Construction Co., Inc. (JWC), called SW-MID Builders JV it has been awarded a $4 billion US Coast Guard (USCG) National Multiple Award Construction Contract (NMACC) for the West Region.
Under this Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, the USCG will issue design-build (D-B) and design-bid-build construction task orders for work at project sites located throughout the western half of the United States, including Hawaii and Guam. Scopes of work will include new construction, marine construction (such as piers and wharfs), demolition, renovation, and historical restoration, as well as infrastructure for land, shore, and coastal facilities.
The SW-MID Builders JV was one of only nine firms selected for this $4 billion, 10-year IDIQ contract. “The NMACC West Region award is a significant milestone for CMS and Jack Wayte Construction.
