Maumee, OH – CMS Corporation announced today that Acciona CMS Philippines LLC, a joint venture between Ohio-based CMS Corporation and Spain-based Acciona, has been awarded a $33 million contract to construct the PDI Transient Aircraft Parking Apron at Basa Air Base (AB) in the Philippines. This award marks a significant milestone for CMS and underscores our expanding global presence.
The project entails the construction of a new parking apron, shoulders, and taxiway at Basa Air Base, along with a comprehensive stormwater management system, apron edge lighting, and vehicular roadways. The scope also includes other essential incidental work required to enhance the airfield’s operational capacity. The work, scheduled for completion in 2026, will be managed by the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Pacific, with construction oversight provided by NAVFAC ROICC Thailand. The JV’s proposal was selected from a competitive field of five submissions.
