Maumee, OH – CMS Corporation announced today it has been awarded a $3.1M project, “Repair Tank WB0001 At DFSP Okinawa, Japan and Replace Pump IP-90 at Kuwae, Okinawa, Japan”. This project was awarded under the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) $2.6 billion Worldwide Engineering and Construction (WE&C) IQID contract.
The scope of work for this project includes repairs to the 60,000-BBL Tank W0001 and its associated appurtenances and the replacement of Pump IP-90. Repairs to Tank W0001 include the Vault Area, replacing the Hydraulic Overfill Protection, the Product Recovery Tank (PRT), Manways, and Tank Area. Replacement of Pump IP-90 includes the Pump, Motor, VFD, and various other requirements.
