MAUMEE, OH – The Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Northwest has awarded CMS Corporation (CMS) an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, small business set-aside multiple award construction contract (MACC) for design-build or design-bid-build construction projects located primarily within the NAVFAC Northwest area of responsibility (AOR), which includes WA, AK, ID, IA, MN, MT, NE, ND, OR, SD, and WY. Approximately 90% of the work is expected to be performed at naval facilities in the State of Washington. The contract ceiling for the base year and 4 option years, for all awarded contracts combined, is $240,000,000.
The scope of work includes new construction, renovation, demolition and repair of facilities, including but not limited to, administrative facilities, housing facilities, child care centers, recreation/fitness centers, retail complexes, manufacturing and industrial facilities, communication facilities, special access program facilities or sensitive compartmented information facilities (SCIFs), aviation facilities (e.g., hangars, control towers, etc.), or other similar facilities. The term of the contract is not to exceed 60 months, with an expected completion date of July 2022.

CMS was one of 8 firms awarded a contract. Awardees may compete for task orders under the terms and conditions of the awarded contract. In all, the Navy received 24 proposals. The contract was set aside for small business. NAVFAC Northwest out of Silverdale, WA, is the contracting activity.
