Maumee, OH – CMS Corporation announced today it has been awarded a $10 million fuels project at Andersen AFB, Guam under the AFCEC Worldwide Engineering and Construction (WE&C) contract. CMS has a strong past performance history of fuels projects in Guam.
The scope of work for this project includes repairing four hydrant tanks (Tanks 1-1, 2-2, 3-1 and 4-1) at Andersen AFB. The 10,000-BBL tanks stand at 34 feet high and 40 feet in diameter, and contain JP-8 jet fuel. The tanks will require cleaning prior to the start of repairs. Work includes floating roof replacement, work on aluminum stairways and handrails, replacement of level alarms and level control valves, interior and exterior coatings, and other miscellaneous repairs.
