Maumee, OH – CMS K.K. (CMS), a wholly owned Japanese subsidiary of CMS Corporation, has been awarded a five-year, $995 million Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) by the U.S. Air Force for work in Okinawa Japan.
Under this MACC, CMS will perform task orders valued between $500,000 and $25 million, delivering comprehensive design-build and design-bid-build construction services both on and off military installations throughout Okinawa. The scope of work includes construction, repair, and replacement of mission-critical and quality-of-life facilities such as barracks, family housing, administrative offices, schools, warehouses, and airfield infrastructure—including hangars, runways, taxiways, and aprons. Additionally, the contract covers key infrastructure systems such as, roads, utilities (water, electrical, and storm drainage), POL storage and fueling facilities, and natural gas stations.
