Maumee, OH – CMS Corporation has received a $21M award for the design and construction of the European Deterrence Initiative (EDI) POL Increase Capacity project at Kecskemet Air Base, Hungary from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Europe District.
For this project, CMS will design and construct an operational jet fuel storage facility to house two 2,500 m3 (660,430 gallon) cut-and-cover fuel storage tanks on Sites A & B at the Base. This project includes construction of support facilities, such as a POL Operations (Site A) building, incoming fuel supply pipeline protection, site development, utilities and connections, lighting, lightning protection, storm drainage connections, landscaping, and signage. Additionally, this award includes Option 2 for the repaving of damaged roads at POL Site B.
