BARGERSVILLE, IN – CMS Corporation (CMS) has been awarded a multi-million dollar turnkey contract with Allison Transmission to install piping systems at its production facility in Indianapolis, IN. CMS’s scope of work will include installation of piping serving the following systems: 1) steam, 2) compressed air, 3) steam condensate, 4) process waste, 5) well water, 6) diesel fuel, and 7) nitrogen at this facility. Additional scopes of work include the provision and installation of pipe supports, painting, and insulation.
CMS will pre-fabricate selected components at its 12,500-SF fabrication facility in Bargersville, IN. All other self-perform mechanical construction will be executed on site. CMS expects to have 20 skilled trades on site during peak performance within the 3-month construction period. CMS’s completion date is October 2017.
