BLOOMINGTON, IN — Custom Mechanical Systems, Corp. (CMS) welcomes Ernest C. Enrique, PE as its new Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board, effective immediately.
Mr. Enrique joins the leadership team of Mercedes Enrique, MBA, President and Khush Mander, Executive Vice President, who are also owners of CMS. As investor/owner of CMS, and an insider to the trials and rewards of defense contracting, Mr. Enrique comes to CMS with a rare insight into our company’s past, present, and future. He understands the unique challenges we face and how to approach them for greatest success. A natural successor to the position, Mr. Enrique also arrives at a significant turning point in CMS’s history as the company graduates from the SBA 8(a) program. Mr. Enrique will move from his prior position as President of TolTest, Inc. to his new position, conducting business from the CMS office in Maumee, Ohio.
An avid entrepreneur, Mr. Enrique’s responsibilities throughout his career have included development and implementation of large-scale strategic growth initiatives and successful management of global federal construction operations. His knowledge, moral character and energy are unmatched and he is held in highest regard by his customers, competitors, peers and employees. He plans to use his more than 25 years of experience in defense contracting to continue our ongoing work in shaping and positioning CMS for maximum visibility, advantage over our competitors, and sustainable success.
Mr. Enrique is a licensed Professional Engineer and has a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Civil Engineering. He serves as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Lourdes University and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, the National Society of Professional Engineers, the Society of American Military Engineers, and the Technical Society of Toledo.
