CMS was awarded the mechanical contract to upgrade the HVAC systems at Indiana University’s (IU) McNutt Quadrangle North Residence Hall. Work included demolition of the existing hot water and chilled water piping loop and risers and installation of new fresh air ducts, a chilled water system, a building heating distribution system, a new 4-pipe system and 400 vertical fan coil units, air distribution systems, and a Siemens facility management system.

The 6-building McNutt Quadrangle Residence Hall houses students in over 700 single and double occupancy rooms on 5 floors and is the largest dormitory complex at IU Bloomington. The project was fast-tracked to ensure room availability for the upcoming school year.
