CMS completed this design-build project to mill and replace over 426,200 SF of HMA in the compound areas of Hangars J and K, the area outside to the main road, and a portion of the Technical Support Facility (TSF) parking area.
New construction included installing a 1.5” potable water supply from Hangar J to the General Maintenance Building and replacing two sanitary sewer lines from Hangar J to the sewer manholes. The crew also relocated existing conduit and installed new 2.5” PVC communication conduit, repaired sidewalks, improved site drainage, installed trailer tie-down anchors, restriped pavement, and built a 1,100 SF PEMB (the Barrel Storage Building).
