CMS executed a $2M repair fuel tank project at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea. Work involved inspecting, repairing, and bringing Tanks 10, 17, and 18 into compliance with API 653 or STI SP001. CMS repaired diffusers, gauges, turbine vertical pump, receipt lines, internal vertical ladder, product recovery tank piping, gauge hatch, and tank data plate. Additionally, our team completed interior coatings using a 3-coat system, with special attention to areas of coating failure. Upon completion, CMS brought each tank back in service supporting the critical missions of Kunsan Air Base.
