K.K. CMS in Japan
KK CMS is registered and licensed (Kensetsu Gyo Kyoka) to perform construction work in Japan. We specialize in construction management for US Department of Defense (Army, Navy and Air Force) clients in country and throughout the Pacific Region.
Founded in 2004 as a mechanical fabrication and installation company, KK CMS has grown into a seasoned Department of Defense (DoD) contractor working around the globe. We manage a wide range of design-build and design-bid-build projects, encompassing new construction, renovation and demolition; equipment repair/replacement; fuel pipeline and storage systems; airfield and non-airfield paving; electrical, mechanical, HVAC and plumbing work; carpentry; concrete and masonry; fencing; site work, erosion controls and utilities; piers, wharves and seawalls; roofing; lead-based paint (LBP) and asbestos abatement; and many others . We also have strong self-performance capability in the areas of mechanical, piping and fabrication work.
CMS has performed over 450 DoD projects worldwide – throughout the Pacific, the United States, the Caribbean, and Europe. In the Pacific, we have been awarded and are successfully executing projects valued at more than $400 million USD of work in Japan, Korea, Guam, the Philippines, Hawaii and remote locations, such as Wake Island. Our current work in Japan ranges from a $2 million dollar Fuel System Repair project at Misawa Air Base to a $60.2 million dollar contract to Construct Bulk Storage Tank, Phase 1, at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Iwakuni, Japan.
