The CMS D-B team was awarded a $10.5M project to update and repair hanger 706 at Dover Air Force Base. Work includes the design and construction updates and repair of architectural/interior features, roof, HVAC, system controls, lighting, fire protection and foam fire suppression, fire alarm system, and electrical. CMS designed the new roofing system to meet hurricane wind load criteria per ASCE-7. Dover AFB, DE is under the operational control of the Air Mobility Command. The 436th Air Wing is the host wing and runs the busiest and largest air freight terminal in the DoD.
