CMS executed a $4.7M project to replace various pumphouse components connected to four aircraft direct fueling stations at Andersen AFB, Guam. The CMS team replaced all supply and discharge lines with stainless steel piping rated for aircraft fuel such as eight 6-inch pump discharge lines, two 14-inch issue lines, and two 8-inch receipt lines. Work also included the replacement of fourteen 12-, 8-, or 6-inch receipt filter separators in inlet/discharge headers, discharge lines, or bypass lines. Our team also replaced the 8-inch defuel/flush valve return line, a 16-inch pump suction header, four 600-gpm pumps, and four 150-HP motors. These fueling station pumphouse repairs were essential to the wing’s flying mission and critical aircraft refueling capabilities.
