CMS repaired two out-of-service 420,000-gallon above-ground JP-8 fuel tanks. Work included de-gassing and cleaning the tanks prior to performing repairs and the repairing and re-coating of the tanks in accordance with applicable API, NACE, UFC, UFGS AW 78-24-27, and installation-specific requirements.
After the repairs and recoating were completed, CMS performed startup and testing of all equipment installed in accordance with the approved Commissioning Plan.
