CMS managed this D-B project to provide HVAC upgrades and repairs in six Marine Corps Base historic buildings, including dorms, barracks, and mixed-use facilities. We demolished existing outdated and inefficient HVAC systems and installed new high-efficiency equipment to not only improve system efficiency but also improve air quality and user comfort. Work consisted primarily of designing and installing HVAC retrofits, HVAC system upgrades, chillers, and A/C ductwork.

To minimize the impact of renovations on building occupants, CMS phased the work for the lowest level of disruption and provided ample notice of utility cutovers, which we performed after normal work hours to further reduce the impact on people and operations.
