CMS provided design and repairs for various DLA-E fuels facilities at Daegu and Kimhae Air Bases, South Korea. CMS corrected more than 55 deficiencies at the two bases, including repairs to valve pits and spill containments; demolition of existing fill stands and tanks; installation of elastomeric seals for penetrations at the pump house, generators, and lightning protection; replacement of pumps and tank access lids; performance of electrical repairs/modification and various repairs on tanks; and modification of piping.
CMS managed field crews of up to 18 tradespeople working at the two bases semi-concurrently. Work was performed safely, with zero OSHA-recordable incidents.
